After a long, hard winter, I finally have some good news to report on the Breckenridge, Colorado real estate front. Both residential sales and the average sold price are up! Sales have risen 4.4 percent and the average sales price of Summit County properties has increased 6.4 percent. This is definitely reason to celebrate!
However, it’s important to note that each side of the county has a different story when it comes to current real estate trends.
Although residential sales are up overall in Summit County, the north side has been struggling a bit. Right now sold properties is down –9.6 percent. That number may sound bad, but it is a slight improvement from past months. Also, the average sold price in this part of the county is at –6.6 percent at the moment.
The south side has much more cheerful numbers to share. This part of the county, which includes Breckenridge, is enjoying a 28.6 percent increase in sales. The average sold price has improved by 8.8 percent as well. I also should add that the sales and prices on this side of the county continue to move upward.
As we head further into the spring season, it will definitely be interesting to see how the real estate landscape develops. I’ll make sure to keep you updated!
