June Events in Summit County
It’s time to give you a list of some of the great things you can do this month in Summit County. June is perfect for exploring a number of fabulous activities the area has to offer. You can enjoy the mountains in a whole new way. 
So take a moment to look through this snapshot of fun events available to you in June!
Run the Rockies
Ready for a refreshing run? Then you’ll enjoy the 37th annual Salomon Run the Rockies weekend in Frisco. You’ll get to enjoy amazing scenery as you encounter exciting race courses. The activities kick off on Saturday, June 8th at 8:00am with the Half Marathon and Road 10k. There’s still time to sign up!
Bubble Making
Do your kids enjoy the water? Then maybe they’d like to find out more about what it’s like to be under water! Bubble Making with David Dee Diving is a fantastic way to teach kids and teenagers all about scuba diving. They’ll get an absorbing introduction that includes basic safety and swimming with gear. Adults and divers who want a refresher course are also welcome to join the group. Come to the Breckenridge Recreation Center on June 8th at 9:30pm to participate. But be sure to register by June 7th first!
FLOWERAMA!
Welcome in the summer months with some beautiful flowers for your porch or deck. Come to FLOWERAMA and help benefit Lake Dillon Theatre Company in the process! You can choose from a variety of 12” pots and baskets from 10:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday, June 15th. Make sure to get your top picks at Frisco’s Pink Plant Place in Frisco on North 4th Avenue.
Live Bluegrass Jam
If a little music on a Wednesday night is your thing, then the Live Bluegrass Jam at the Barkley Ballroom in Frisco will definitely make your evening. Listen to some of Colorado’s best pickers as they play both originals and classics for your entertainment on June 19th. The fun starts at 9:00pm.
Lake Dillon Brew Festival
Hot, Summit County days are great when there’s a brewery around! Have a sip of some of the tasty craft beers available at the Lake Dillon Brew Festival. Whether you’re a beer connoisseur or you just enjoy this summer refreshment, be sure to check out the Marina Park/Dillon Amphitheatre on June 22nd to sample the suds. All of the festivities start at 1:00pm sharp.
